Giving back to the community.

Andy’s philosophy is to give back. Or pay it forward. However you describe it, he believes in getting involved. He is on the Beach Events Steering Committee and serves on the board of the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center.     You’ll also find a life-size dolphin sculpture at The Oceanfront Inn, part of the “Dolphin’s Promise” project, which is working to raise money for cancer research and to save and protect marine life through the Virginia Aquarium Stranding Response Program. Our dolphin, one of many symbols of hope, healing and joy around the city, is painted by Terre Ittner and sports a festive top hat in honor of the hotel’s interesting history.
